River Lin

River lived in Japan for nearly 20 years during which time she developed a deep love for the country and its people who led her into adulthood. She embraced the culture, adapting Japanese traditions, customs, and world views into her life. The influence of Japan shaped the creation of Zokawa: The Center of Happiness.

River speaks Japanese and continues to have close friends in Japan who are serving as advisors and assistants in the planning of this trip.

Total Price
$7,500.00

Your price includes roundtrip airfare between LA, California and Tokyo, in-country travel, hotels and most meals (approximately 5 lunches will not be included in your price), travel insurance, sightseeing entrance fees and excursion fees, and local Japanese stipends for guides and escorts. Your deposit of 10% secures your spot. Spaces are limited and the reservations will close on or before September 15, 2024.

A deposit of $750 will secure your spot.

Note that $500.00 is non-refundable and $250 is refundable only until January 1, 2025.

Deposits can be made in one payment or in two separate payments.

Note that your position is secured only upon receipt of the full $750.00.

Payments are due in $500 increments through the secure online payment system or, if you choose to change payments or payoff your trip, reach out directly to make those arrangements.

Important Dates

September 15, 2024: Deposits accepted now through September 15, 2024.

Capacity is 18 travelers and if we reach that number before September 15, 2024, Reservations will close before September 15, 2024.

January 1, 2025: $250 of the deposit is refundable up to January 1, 2025. There are no refunds for cancellations after January 1, 2025.

March 15, 2025: The entire cost of the trip is due by March 15, 2025.

Payments for the total cost of the trip can be made monthly, or all at once. More information on this coming in a separate email to those who have made a deposit.
